Accept.  The last piece to my bullpen was another closer and Perkins is a pretty good one with team control.  Gonna miss Wieland but its the price for a bullpen piece. Thanks Brian!

Twins accept. Closers are good for teams competing and barring fortunate circumstances, Twins won't be there until 2015. Hence, I'm not taking the chance that Perkins will still be a closer then.

For me, Wieland is the primary part of the deal. He will be coming off injury, but before that, he projected well as middle of the rotation guy for San Diego. I'll take the chance that he is still capable. Tocci and Cozens give me two young OF with upside. de Fratus gives me someone to fill Perkins place.
