Caught Looking is a Head-2-Head (H2H) format of categories which are used for scoring. In order to receive a win, you must win majority of the selected categories that are used to score. 9v9 cats.

Caught Looking will be played through ESPN along with offline scoring. We will have 2 ESPN leagues, one for AL and one for NL. Each league will have 15 Teams in it. The schedule will work as follows. Each team will play the other teams in its division twice (8 total match-ups). Each team will also play the other teams in its league once. This will add 10 match-ups. Each team will then play 2 inter-league match-ups. That will be a total of 20 games. For the playoffs, it will work like the MLB. The 2 wildcard teams will play a match-up during week 21. The winner will advance, and the divisional match-ups will be during week 22. Then league series will be week 23, with the world series occurring from week 24 and if applicable week 25 (Sometimes there is only 24 Weeks). At this point you may be asking how this is possible. Every week will be scored by a spreadsheet in which the data team will enter the accumulated stats straight from ESPN each day. This way illegal stats can be handled and thrown out and the schedule can work how we want it. Each weeks spreadsheet will determine the winner, not the ESPN match-up. Most weeks your team will have an ESPN match-up that you can use for reference as it should be correct, but sometimes the ESPN match-up might be wrong or it may be an inter-league week. Because of the schedule, some weeks will have 1 inter-league match-up, and some will have 3 inter-league match-ups. Also, some teams will play the same opponent in both inter-league match-ups. Not all of them, but unfortunately that is the only way the schedule works. REGARDLESS OF WHETHER YOUR MATCH-UP IS INTER-LEAGUE OR NOT, SET YOUR ESPN LINEUP EVEN IF ESPN SAYS ITS A BYE WEEK AS INTER-LEAGUE STATS ARE RECORDED FROM ESPN. In order to comply with the rules, all changes (excluding daily rotations with position swapping) MUST occur and be processed on the forum and forum roster FIRST and BEFORE the change is made on the ESPN roster. This includes minor league promotion/demotions, free agency signings, trades, and any other various details that are deemed by the league that must be switched first. For reasons above with the complex schedule, a playoff league will be made prior to the league playoffs, consisting of 10 teams. The league office will run the league to create perfect seeds for playoff time, and once each team has made the playoffs, they will be invited to participate in the playoffs in that league. Some races may come down to the final day of the regular season, so please make your best attempt to be on so you can load your roster for the next day. If this isn't possible, the league office will do it for you based on the current 25 man roster, but please do not take advantage of this.
Any roster that is deemed illegal by the league office will be punishable with penalties such as fines against the salary cap, loss of draft picks, and the team will have the illegal stats forfeited. Please adhere to all the rules and make sure any changes you make are made first on the forum.
