1. Start on all roster threads. (MLB Roster w/ 40 Man, MiLB Roster, Trans Log, Draft Hub)
2. By July 8th, your teams full roster must be submitted to the league office to the official roster section. This must include you MLB Roster, 40 Man Roster, and MiLB Roster. Once the deadline for this passes, you may not add more players from your organization. Whoever you leave off this roster that is from your team becomes a free agent. You can use this to better your cap situation, but if you aren't careful you could lose some nice prospects. Please be careful. Do not whine and cry if you leave someone off, you had prior notice and explanation.
3. These rosters will be checked for errors, and will be transmitted into the master spreadsheet roster. This will be done by July 12th. Please check to see if any errors are on your team.
4. On July 15th, Trading and Free Agency will open. Please follow all rules about trades and free agency. For more details on trading and free agency, please refer to the Transaction Handbook part of the rules.
4. On July 22nd, the 2013 Amateur Draft will commence. Picks on the clock CANNOT BE TRADED. If you want to trade the pick, make the selection and then trade the actual player. If you trade the pick it causes a 48 hour ish delay for trade review. There will be a 24 hour limit for the first round, and it may be sped up in later rounds.
5. On July 29th, scoring begins. We will have a 5 week regular season, and then four weeks of playoffs. Please realize we do not use ESPN as the official scoreboard, it is there simply to track stats. We enter the stats into a spreadsheet and it calculates the winner. For interleague matchups, ESPN may say you have a bye. Please do not pay any attention to this, and still set your lineup as this is where the stats come from. Playoffs will be run the same way, with all teams having byes. Please still set your lineups if you are in the playoffs so that you have the best chance to win.
Any questions, PM me.
